Client Query 013:- Hello, Hope you doing well. Please if you could clarify that according to PPRA rules if a bid with two or more options against one item is acceptable or otherwise. For example, for a branded computer, a bidder has offered multiple models in HP, Dell and Lenovo brands with same specifications as per RFP. It is not specified and restricted in our RFP document to quote multiple brands for single item. Your kind assistance in this regard would be appreciated.

Answer:- Based on your query, a bidder cannot submit two bids with a single bid security/pay order. In general, submission of alternative bids by a single bidder is not allowed. However, the alternative bids with separate bid security can be accepted by the procuring agency if already prescribed by it in the bidding documents. Hope this answer helps you with what you have asked.
