S.R.O. 537(I)/82. – In excise of the powers conferred by section 12 of the Drugs Act, 1976 (XXI of 1976), the Federal Government is pleased to fix the maximum retail price of an imported drug specified in the list at. Annex – I mark-up forty per cent of that price.
Notes:-
1. For the purpose of calculating the price, a foreign currency shall be converted into Pakistan rupee at the rate of exchange prevailing on the third day of May, 1962.
2. The manufacturer shall, after calculating the price as aforesaid, duly print or, where printing is not possible stamp the price so calculated on each container and inform the Director – General Health, in the proforma , Specimen of which is at Annex II.
3. In no case any upward change in the existing C & F value shall be made without prior approval; in writing of the Director General , Health.
2. This supersedes the Health Division’s Notification No. S.R.O. 1109(I)/81 dated the 30th June 1981, in so far as it relates to drug specified in the list at Annex I.
