Order delegating the Pakistan Special Police Powers of Investigation and arrest to the Provincial Police
(i) No. 13/73/48-Police (II), dated the 27th March, 1950.– In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (2) of section 2 of the Pakistan Special Police Establishment Ordinance, 1948 (VIII of 1948), the Central Government is pleased to direct that with effect from the 13th day of February, 1948, in respect of such offences and such persons concerned in offence connected with matters concerning the Central Government as have already been brought before the Courts, the Provincial Police in the Provinces, in Balochistan and in the Capital of the Federation shall be deemed to have had within their respective Jurisdictions the like powers of investigation and arrest as the Special Police Establishment.
