S.R.O. 30(I)/94.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (vi) of clause (g) of section 3 of the Drugs Act, 1976 (XXXI of 1976), and in supersession of its Notification No. F. 3-1/91-AU, dated the 15th June, 1993, and No. S.R.O. 676 (I)/93, dated the 7th August, 1993, the Federal Government is pleased to declare the following substances to be ‘drug’ for the purpose of this Act, namely:-
(i) Heart pace maker;
(ii) Heart valves;
(iii) Prosthesis for arthroplasty;
(iv) Angioplasty balloon with accessories;
(v) Atherectomy instruments;
(vi) Cardiac catheters, alongwith guidewire;
(vii) Inone balloon;
(viii) Oxygenator with accessories;
(ix) Rashkind occluder;
(x) Stents for angioplasty;
(xi) Cine angiography film;
(xii) Disposable angiography electrodes; and
(xiii) Blood glucose meter.
