            S.R.O. 609(1)/2003, dated 23-6-03.—In exercise of the powers confirmed under subsection (1) of section 25 of Civil Servants Act,1973 (LXXI of 1973), read with Fundamental rules 45 and 45-A, the President is pleased to make the following amendments in the accommodation Allocation Rules, 2002, namely:–

            In the aforesaid Rules, after rule 29, the following new rule shall be inserted namely:–

            “29A. Relaxation of Rules.—The Prime Minister may relax any rule governing allotment of accommodation of eligible federal Government Servants in Public interest and for deserving cases.”
