Client Query 048:- Hello, wanted an opinion based on what does PPRA say on a certain situation which as an organization are currently dealing with! Actually we are to procure premises on rent for office/customer centers. The rent agreement would be made under Sindh Rental Premises Ordinance. We have given a clause regarding period as “The initial tenancy agreement, which would be for 3 years thereafter it would be extended with mutual consents of the parties”. Now we as an organization wanted to know that is it against any PPRA Rule regarding specifying the period? Also if you could please advise if the rental premises would be subjected to vacant after 5 years?
