Other Law Journal References: -s. 2-a-sui southern Gas company limited is a body corporate under companies’ ordinance 1984 and as such registered by registrar, joint stock, companies-federal government is owning and controlling company and, therefore, employees of company are deemed to be civil servants for purposes of service tribunal by insertion of section 2-a in service tribunal act, 1973 (act no. LXX of 1973) by service tribunals (amendment) act, 1973 published in official gazette on 10.6.1997, except workman’ defined under industrial relations ordinance, 1969, industrial and commercial employment (standing orders) ordinance, 1968, factories act and other labour laws in view of tribunal’s judgment reported 2000 PLC (CS) 947 (Nosherwan khan’s vs. U.B.L & others)–board of directors of respondents-company have framed rules known as “sui Gas transmission company limited executive service rules” and rules have come into force w.e.f. 25.2.1982 which are applicable only to employees of company and terms and conditions of employment of workman in respondents-company are excluded because of labour laws applicable to them-terms and conditions of employees of respondents-company under said rules have been discussed and decided in tribunal’s judgment in appeal no. 1097(r)/99 decided on 29.4.2000 titled Saleem Mustafa sheikh vs. federation of Pakistan and managing director, sui southern Gas company ltd., Karachi-this judgment has been approved by august supreme court of Pakistan in civil petitions no. 979-k to 1012-k of 2000 titled managing director, sui southern Gas co. ltd., vs. Saleem Mustafa sheikh and others decided on 10.7.2000-
