Wanted to ask that is it possible that a procuring agency accept voluntary rebate from pre-qualified vendors/firms after the financials have been opened particularly in civil works as well as in other types of procurement? Answer:- Thank you for writing to us. As per your query stated above we would like to highlight that there is no concept of rebate in PP Rules, 2004. It may be noted that reduction of rates, rebates, discounts etc. from the bidders during the process of bid evaluation until award of contract to the lowest evaluated bidder are not allowed.
