Wanted to clarify one thing that, it is mentioned that SNGPL and SSGCL both intends to hire consultancy services for an activity on joint basis, as scope of work is same for these organizations. In this regard, we seek your advice/ opinion if consultancy services are hired through single tender enquiry from one consultant for both organizations, as the scope of work is same. As per your query, the answer to it is this that, if there is any possibility to authorize one procuring agency to act on behalf of the other then the consultancy services can be hired by following Consultancy Service Regulations 2010 (CSR, 2010). Bidding documents should be prepared in the light of Rule 23 of Public Procurement Rules, 2004 and method of payment is to be determined by the procuring agencies.
